 Antalya is first and foremost a great place for relaxation. It gives a visitor a choice of long pebble, sand or cliff beaches, with fantastic scenery of the waterfalls and Taurus mountains which are snow-capped for part of the year. It also offers literally hundreds of historical sites in it’s surroundings. It’s westernized, but still very Turkish feel is very easy on the foreigner and makes Antalya an excellent starting point for exploring Turkey.
