 We only went to Leiden because it was conveniently close to The Hague and its embassies, but we were pleasantly surprised and happy to discover such a great town. It is a calm, but energetic student place, a mix between Venice with its canals and bridges, and Amsterdam with its coffee shops and colorful people – just without tourists.
