The Predjama castle is a front to a large cave behind which makes it an excellent hiding place and an impenetrable fortress. Its most famous inhabitant was the knight Erasmus who managed to resist a siege for months until one of his man betrayed him. Every year a knights’ tournament is held here. The Postojna cave is a world onto itself. It even has a railway and a concert hall :-). The rest of it... you just have to see for yourself.
